This is a well written and laid out book chock full of useful information that can be used by anyone in the field. However, shame on me I didn't read the complete item description or I would have realized this was a European text with limited value to people working in the US. Interesting reading in any event.

This is a well written book. Tells the history of roads and the composition of roadway construction. The only problem is that it was written for England and not America.

Iwanted a book for astudy guide for a engineering test it contained all the information needed and more it has sample questions at the end of each chapter which were very helpful
